  • Omigawd, shit-o-dear, gollygee and OH FUCK!

I had been blogging here, answering more of Rachel’s
questions.  I posted it, checked my email, went back and read the first few
comments, and called Greyfox to read Sarah‘s
to him (He said, “Speaking as one whose ass has been up between his
shoulder blades a lot, I concur.”), when Doug got up.  I
wanted to watch the Matrix Ping Pong flash one more time, so I told Doug to get something to eat.

He ate and then got distracted by something and gave me more time at
the computer.  I started closing windows I had opened
in pursuing answers for Rachel, got delightfully distracted by a few of
them, then went back and read more email.  Something in Rich Humbert’s celestial weather report got my attention and I clicked the link to look at the chart for this Thursday’s New Moon
A minute or so ago, Doug came over here to take over the keyboard, but by
then I had decided to blog about this new moon, and sent him to the PS2
    for a while.

    INTENSE

The New Moon this month (a conjunction of Sun and Moon already)
is conjunct Mercury and opposite Pluto.  That much is true for the
entire planet.  Those are just the realtime aspects of the New
Moon.  That could be pretty intense.  There is also a
T-Square of Jupiter opposite Uranus square Venus, and a trine between
Venus and Neptune.  I’d say trust your dreams to help you deal
with the rest of the shit that’s hitting the fan.

That’s what we all will be dealing with, and how it affects any one of
you individually will depend on how those positionings aspect your
natal planets.  Here’s how they affect mine:

The Sun-Moon-Mercury conjunction is square my natal Sun-Chiron
conjunction, and opposite my Ascendant.  Pluto is conjunct my
Ascendant.  Transiting Jupiter at 11°38′ Virgo is spang on my
natal Jupiter at 11°44′ Virgo.  Mars, which at Cancer 26° is
semi-sextile the new moon and semi-square realtime transiting Jupiter,
is sextile my natal Sun/Chiron and quincunx my Ascendant.  The
    Venus-Jupiter-Uranus T-Square aspects my natal Moon-Mars-Midheaven
    conjunction with a trine, a semi-sextile and a quincunx.
Transiting Saturn is square my Midheaven, too.

If that’s not a prescription for falling into the outhouse and coming
out with a bouquet of roses, I’ve never seen one.  If nothing
else, it begins to explain these feelings
I’ve been having.  That’s the New Moon.  I can hardly wait to
get a look at the Full Moon… but maybe I’ll just wait and see.

    Wheeeeeeeeee…
If I don’t survive, don’t worry.  I’ll have gone on to something
better, or I’ll be back as something more interesting.  If I do
survive, I will have passed through a healing crisis, and/or met
another soumate and/or resolved a shitload of karma.  I
    repeat:  wheeeeee.

  • Hmm seems you ignored me. I guess this question and answer thing is over. Nice talking. See you around.

  • Nice to see you happy!

  • I wish I understood all the planet and their positions and the moon “stuff” (I know…it’s not “stuff” but my word bank just shut the hell down).

I could send my Jesus action figures to help you thru this time.

  • Hello i am Dosmangoes’s friend and i like your site!! You can come see mine some time and maybe you could tell me what it needs!!

  • LOL! I had to go back & read that.. are you having fun?
Anyway… I too do not understand astrology, tho I’ve looked at it a bit. I don’t have nearly as much time to read as I’d like (I think my days need to be fully 48 hrs long ) From your reaction it sounds like an interesting time…
I also thank you profusely for sharing your amassed knowledge. I read, I absorb, and I go with enthusiasm to your links I love having a direction to turn… at least that gives me some focus

  • I have an astrology-style question for you…

What are your thoughts on ‘adding’ Ophiuchus to the Zodiac?  Or, do you already include it in your Astrological work?

  •  Like Maggie, my days seem particularly full and I’m often lacking the time to do as much as I’d like.  One of things I do, every morning, is read up on my subscriptions – and, I always find something interesting when I check your blog.  Thanks for the kind words at bluesman43 – you should be able to follow this to the other site.

    Best

    B.

  • Oh cool!  I don’t know a whole lot about the details of astrology, I should dig out my books and figure out how it will affect me… sounds interesting!
