Maybe a Bit Too Much of a Good Thing
I like facial hair on men. Generally speaking, I like bearded men. I think that a man who chooses to let his beard grow naturally is showing good sense. Shaving and other forms of depilation are wasteful of time and other precious resources. Stubble on faces is abrasive and not conducive to happy nuzzling and smooches. In addition to all that, there is something a little creepy about a grown man who tries to look like a beardless boy.
Some of these men, in my opinion, might have gone a little overboard with the beard thing, though.

They just look like Alaskan men, letting it all hang out. It’s the ones like Gerhard Knapp, below, a contestant from Germany, who turn me off. I just don’t understand the rationale behind the wax and the freakish, funny-looking thing. Who would want to nuzzle that?

Oh wow, that’s just….wow!
I like beards, but not ridiculous ones.
Count me out.
I like mustaches but not beards.
“Who would want to nuzzle that?” Mrs. Claus?
@Jaynebug - I’d credit Mrs. Claus with more taste than that. She’d probably like the man on the far right in the middle row of the top pic. I do.
@SuSu - Touche’
Then again, you must consider some women’s hairdos hahaha. I am with you; I love beards.
I shave once a week… when I remember. So… constantly in a state of stubbly-ness. Don’t really care for beards and too lazy to shave on a regular basis. So there ya go.
I agree with you completely. Steve’s beard is quite thick, and the hairs very stout. He keeps it trimmed short (despite my pleas that he grow it out a bit to soften it) and I swear, sometimes it’s like nuzzling a cactus!
mmm… I don’t like kissing beard face either so My hubby just grows a goute’. He is scandinavian and can’t get a full beard anyways. he he. Did you notice I got to drive the ‘crip’ cart at our local walmart. People sure did jump out of my way. I didn’t have to ask anyone to ‘please move’.
Most of the men I know have beards. My husband has a beard. I don’t like the very long and unkempt beards, however….
