Cartoon Campaign
VS
For some reason, perhaps because this is the most deadly serious presidential campaign I can remember, I am appreciating the humorous bits more than ever. When Greyfox told me that Thursday’s SNL prime time special characterized the two major candidates this way, it struck me as not only funny, but wildly appropriate. I recall one old Bugs Bunny cartoon where Yosemite Sam shot a hole in his own hat. tehee

Heh. There is also a Bugs Bunny cartoon where he runs against Yosemite Sam for mayor, and all Sam’s attempts to sabotage Bugs blow up in his own face….
those are very good examples of the candidates. i crossed paths with sarah palin in colorado springs last night and again this morning. i got a cold chill when her motorcaid passed me!
@coletteatsea - Funny thing — or not — I got a shuddery chill reading your comment. I used to get the same feeling when I passed one of her big political signs along the highway, when she was running for mayor or governor. Her signs were always bigger than others.
I bet her signs were always bigger than others. That just makes total sense in so many ways.
@coletteatsea - Chills here too.
Joe Cool? Really? Poor misunderstood Snoopy. Always having to fight the Red Baron.
Snoopy was the CIA and the Red Baron must have been communism. And we
all know the CIA killed Kennedy, so by pure logical we can assume that
Obama shot Kennedy. Flawless!
Joe cool 08! I love Peanuts over Looney Tunes presidential candidates.
I loe Joe Cool and we have already voted her in Wa state. We have mail in ballots. My household cast 3 votes for Obama as there are 3 registered voters here.
Snoopy is the shit.
