It all balances out.
UPDATEDI woke before five this morning, uncomfortable from something I ate before I went to bed. I flipped and flopped, belched and burped, and finally sat up and moved enough furry four-legged friends to get out of bed. I had my flashlight to find my way to the outhouse, but hadn’t stopped to put on a hat or sweater. The aurora was bright enough that I wouldn’t have needed the flashlight, but not colorful enough or active enough to keep me out there hatless and coatless for very long. Temp was in the mid-teens F. It’s my first aurora sighting of the season. I hope I can get some photos this year.
I had my radio on briefly, just enough to catch a little news. I’m playing good old FF Tactics on the PS, no stress, little challenge, just entertainment with old virtual friends. I have decided not to listen to the VP debate. What they say is less important than what most voters think of how they look and sound. I’m sure there will be more unavoidable “highlights” replayed in the media for the next few weeks than I really want to hear anyway. Palin’s voice affects me like fingernails on a blackboard, anyhow, ever since I listened to her dodging the issues when she ran for governor. Alaska seems to be running just fine without her, BTW.

A sunrise like this can make up for a lot of nonsense and discomfort.

Yeah, I can’t stand her voice either but do plan on watching the debacle, eh, debate.

Yeah, listening to just about everyone talking about it is starting to really put me off so I skim over it.
I have FF Tactics for the GBA and WotL for the PSP. Not sure if either one is a remake of the original but I assume that the gameplay is similar.
I’ll watch until I start yelling at the TV again and the children turn it off. haha

I’m watching the debate just to see the moose in the headlights look she has had in her interviews… should be interesting. And I agree about her voice… good grief it’s annoying.
We’re getting colder here, as well… frost advisory last night just to the east of us, not quite cold enough here though. I’m not ready for frost and snow. Ack.
You make going to the outhouse sound way more appealing than I’ve ever imagined it could be. I watched the debate, but I had a bottle of wine first. So my impressions aren’t to be trusted.
Well I’m glad you’ve reached some sort of equilibrium. I found out today that I’ve been royally screwed over. I’m in a position where I’m going to have to take drastic action.
Although I’ve never played it, FF tactics sounds alright (though FPS and racing games are my preference). Nice photos, btw.
Yes…sunshines like that bring sense into things even if for a short moment. Anything whose beauty talks louder then your thoughts is a blessing.
