Dougshots
I have been feeling frustrated at the photographic opportunities I’ve missed because of this pneumonia keeping me in the house. Two nights of full moon effects with trees and clouds were lost, and while I have been out of action most of the fall color has passed and many trees are bare. Yesterday, Doug took the camera out for a walk.

wtg Doug! Is that orange stuff some kind of fungi?
I’ve never seen ice fog, myself. I live on the Central California Coast, and it has a Mediterrean climate most times. I just loved Alaska when I visited in ’96.My sister-in-law plopped a road map in my lap and asked,” Where do we go?” We traveled every road except for the road to Tok, and the roads in Juno.We even went up to Deadhorse and Pruhdoe Bay in late July, and camped; it snowed on us a bit! *laugh* Anyhow, Doug’s pictures are great! I was intrigued by the orange fungus(?), or whatever it was.VERY cool! *S* Thanks for a great blog!
