i like the idea that we won’t impeach him because it passes judgment of a sort on ourselves. i think that’s completely accurate. for a nation that spends more and more time alone by its individual selves we are increasingly unwilling to examine ourselves to any meaningful degree. maybe there’s not much depth to plumb, eh?

when i see my rep next (which is actually pretty often) i’ll have to bring impeachment up to him, not that i think it will do much good.
