Shades of Gray
…the new weekly_Photo_Challenge, hosted by cathurynn.
All my recent photography is in color, and I don’t do much PhotoShop work, but for this I selected a few shots almost at random, and took the color out of them.
…and since she didn’t say gray and only gray, one of my favorites, including many shades of gray:
Then I remembered that I have some work from very early in my
photographic career that was captured on black and white film over
fifty years ago.

Loverly. I enjoy seeing your photos from so far up north and the branch thaw is special. Your fox reminds me of someone I know.
Have a great week,
Sweet.
Your favorite is mine, also. Looks like something Bob Ross would have painted…
Gray is beautiful. Even Novak. Who knew (that she didn’t need to be in technicolor to be beautiful)?
Really stellar work here…although the first was kinda scary…LOL!
This is the most beautiful art I have seen in quite a while. I look at a lot of art because it moves me. I know very little about what makes art work but I know when I love it and that is all that is important to me. I bought a camera today at a used store it has a wonderful lens. I looked up how to use it on the net. I bought some film and am going to try it out tomorrow. I have a new and very nice digital camera but this one had such a great lens it called to me as a different way to see the world, Judi
I love ice pictures. The whole idea of ponds and things actually freezing is still novel to me. : )
Second and third. Great.
I love black and white pictures. And one of the reasons digital is so cool becasue you can have both.
Jeez, I loved the picknick movie. Great pics. girl!
Oh amazing!
love the third one! great job!
A new angle on Greyfox…..Well done on these!
Very nice. I especially like the greyfox.
Great job! I must say, the birch one is my favorite. It would have kept me guessing for a while had you not revealed its identity!

I like the “color” shades of grey. Neat vintage photos.
I love this shot: “and since she didn’t say gray and only gray, one of my favorites, including many shades of gray:”
the birch photo is great! Nice job.
I love them all!
