  • Happy
    Birthday,
    Greyfox

    Don’t celebrate
(except by gloating over knives and catching the NA meeting tonight).

Don’t let getting older get you down.
    Remember:  it beats the alternative.

Now that I got the don’ts out of the way, do enjoy your day.
Reflect on where you are and how you got there.
Don’t worry about where you’re going.
    – sorry, I thought I had them out of the way, really –
Take it as it comes, one step at a time.

    I love you.
(But you knew that, didn’t you?)

  • Happy Birthday, Greyfox!

  • SuSu, I have a question. I see a symbol on the lower right corner of all of your posts. Is that from Runes?  Would it be appropriate to ask the meaning behind it?

I hope Greyfox’s day is an excellent one, sharp pointy things, NA meeting and all!

Great picture BTW..looks like a little sunshine brought a great bounty of flowers for you there!

  • Thanks, sweety.  Shit, I’m getting all misty here, can’t see the damn screen.

BTW, I finished transcribing the new Melody, want to wait a while, proof it again, maybe change fonts.  Also, I have another blog in me, that will be coming out privately real soon.

It was drizzling in Willow when I left, looks like this will be a day off.

  • Happy near done dead to your man… :o D

He’s pretty cute for a hundred and four….

Hey?  I’m not good at salutations…. Gimme a break..

    Now go shake his bones….

  • It could of bit me! I like that sentiment. HMMM maybe I can think of something that would suit me and add to my collection of body art. Mine are all off the walls of the tattoo parlor of the week..no particular meanings to any of them except the FTW on my shoulderblade…but those F$#@! the world days are over Thank God(dess). Maybe I could get it covered up…HMMM now you got me thinkin’

  • Happy Birthday Greyfox!

  • Xanga-gram, part two.  Looks like another off day, I dunno.  But I decided to come to the Big Lake Library and play beat the clock, fine-tune some unposted blogs, and  (FINALLY!) get the NA order done and post it at the BG PO.

Great blog–tell you the truth, the more decrepit I become, the more okay I am with Doug’s being at home.  I hope I don’t shovel as much snow this year as I did last year, and I don’t intend to do any wood-splitting or toting.

I still kinda wish he had his license, so he could be running Streak into town for service and doing solo water runs, but as long as neither one of us wants him learning to drive  on our car, that doesn’t seem terribly likely.

And I wish he and I had more to talk about–there doesn’t seem to be much overlap between our respective interests.  Still, I am SO glad he doesn’t do any drugs except sugar, SO glad he has a great vocab, doesn’t have to resort to the potty-mouth BS.

Plus, it is great for my humility, being a near-genius myself and STILL being the dumbest primate in the household.
