EARTHQUAKE UPDATE
The NEIS websites are catching up now. The quake is on the list at the URL below. The 4.5 on Oct. 28 is the one “right under us”, and the 6.7 on Oct. 23 has been upgraded from 6.4, which I had heard previously.
We’re fine, here. Some damage to a Navajo stone figurine that fell onto the tile hearth, and a really hot fire in the woodstove as a result of getting agitated, are all we have now to show that anything happened… that and my adrenaline surge. I still haven’t been away from this keyboard for that smoke, so I’m outta here now.

Glad you’re safe.
hope you are safe, hugs.
I’ve never been in an earthquake…and I’m thankful for that.
Take care! And I’m glad you’re not hurt.
Thanks for visiting my site!

~thinking of you always~
Wow! I’ve been hearing about it on TV. Did it seem like it went on for a long time?
Do I dare ask if pot is legal in Alaska? I guess since you dared mention it, it’s ok to say. Or is it that you live in such a remote place, who’s going to care what you do up there?
As a Southern California native, I have shared the adrenaline rush phenom. Glad you are all OK, and am so glad you are in a trailer home – they are built for shaking and movement. Our house is built on a slab, a small one-story and it rides them out fairly well too. I do have some stuff that you can use to help keep things from falling. Email me and I’ll send you some. {{{{{Kathy}}}}}
I’m glad you’re all ok! My sister-in-law in Healy said that a mirror fell off of her wall, but that it didn’t break; and everything, other than the roads, was alright,there. Believe it or not, I sorta predicted the quake to some friends. My back is quake sensitive, and it was giving me fits just before the quake. The only thing is, here, it wasn’t very much felt. My back is still on the tender side, though….I just hope it’s aftershocks…take care, ok? *HUGS* & Pax~Z
